font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\">The company is a Dutch multinational operating in the health, nutrition and materials sectors (pharmaceuticals, medical instruments, personal hygiene products, food, etc.). <\/span><\/p>\n<p>In order to use existing equipment and facilities in new production activities, the company needed to carry out a gap analysis between the existing qualification documentation and the requirements of the regulations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4d97d038 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4d97d038\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Our contribution<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3d7ef47d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3d7ef47d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>The company turned to the specific expertise of the S4BT Qualification Team (equipment, environments, and utilities) which oversaw the project in all the following phases:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n            <span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\"><b>Gap Analysis<\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\">, in which the S4BT Team highlighted the level of compliance of the existing qualification documentation with respect to the regulatory provisions and <\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size ); font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\">corporate and international standards (cGMP and FDA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n            <b style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size );\">Action Plan. <\/b><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size );\">T<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight ); color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size );\">he &#8220;Gap analysis&#8221; provided the basis for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size );\"><br \/>\n            <span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\">the definition of all the actions to be taken in order to ensure full <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\">compliance of equipment and\/or plant with company and international <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\">standards<\/span> <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size );\"><br \/>\n            <span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\">the definition of priorities on the basis of the size and\/or severity of the &#8220;gaps&#8221; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\">found<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size );\"><span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );\"><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification Master Plan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once the existing &#8220;gaps&#8221; and the appropriate activity plan were defined, the project QMP (Qualification Master Plan) was drawn up containing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the objectives of the qualification activity<\/li>\n<li>the responsibilities of the various professionals involved in the project<\/li>\n<li>the qualification strategy to be adopted<\/li>\n<li>the inventory of the equipment and\/or plant involved in the project<\/li>\n<li>the list of qualification documentation (eg DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) to be drawn up for all equipment and\/or plant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Action Plan implementation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once the QMP was approved, the S4BT team was involved in the following activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Action Plan Implementation<\/li>\n<li>Support in the management and planning of the various qualification activities<\/li>\n<li>Drafting of qualification documents (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)<\/li>\n<li>Support in the review of qualification documents and SOPs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ec06dd2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1ec06dd2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Result<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4f5ecd6d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4f5ecd6d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The project helped push the company even further towards a \u201cRisk-based\u201d approach. The work of the S4BT Team also made it possible to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>highlight all <b>existing documentary gaps<\/b><\/li>\n<li>eliminate all <b>redundant qualification activities<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the client company this has translated into <strong>improved performance<\/strong> and greater
